Guest_Taylor : Welcome to MSN Live on MSN Chat Radio! I am your host, Taylor and tonight we have a great show for you starting with No Doubt whose new CD is "Return of Saturn." Joining us onstage tonight are Tony, Tom, Adrian and Gwen.

No_Doubt_Live : I had an interesting day today, I had to harvest my sperm so I could have babies in the future.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: That questions isn't unusual or fun enough, so let's move on. (laugh) kidding. I'm doing good, I just got out of the spa with Tony.

No_Doubt_Live : After this interview, we're getting in together.

No_Doubt_Live : Alright!!

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: There's a meaning behind Saturn and it has to do with the songs on the album, it takes 29 days to circle the sun, like how you go through cycles and it was relevant for me while writing these songs.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: My favorite thing about Tony is how he can fart and make different sounds from his bottom.

No_Doubt_Live : Tony: My favorite thing about Adrian is that he can dress up like a woman. (laugh)

No_Doubt_Live : Tom: The best thing about Gwen is that she sings real good. (laugh)

No_Doubt_Live : GwenOf course I still like the film, it's the best movie ever made, and I can sing you a bit!

No_Doubt_Live : It's one of my goals someday to be on Broadway in this show.

No_Doubt_Live : It came out before Pac Man came out and we wanted to put it out, but we wanted to focus on our careers, and then we decided to put out our version Pac-Doubt.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: My brother used to have nighmares that a huge pac-man would come and eat him up.

Guide_LarryH : juliet408 Asks: you would be great in broadway!! have you ever really acted?

No_Doubt_Live : I actually did one of my first things with the band, we were on "King of the Hill."

No_Doubt_Live : We acted as ourselves.

No_Doubt_Live : I like to drum nude because it makes friends and bandmates laugh and entertaining for the audience as well.

Guide_LarryH : GwenTonyTomAdrian Asks: Tony Whats up with you overflowing Coffee on the "return of "saturn"cover?

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: It was basically John, who used to be in our band, is responsible for the name and it was something he used t o say a lot. And before we knew it, it was sort of the name and we had stickers and stuff.

Guide_LarryH : NxDxanytime Asks: Whats the deal with the old horns Adrian? Are you gonna be keeping them for a while? Gwen, has no more pink hair either?

No_Doubt_Live : That's actually tea, and that photo shoot was taking so long, that I just didn't empty out the cup. It's really symbolic, but I can't tell you about that.

No_Doubt_Live : Adrian: I ran out of hairdos to come up with, so now I'm just recycling.

Guide_LarryH : NoDoubtGuy Asks: Is the rip in Gwens dress on the ROS cover suppossed to be their?

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: I'm doing the same thing. The year 2000 is all about recycling, so I think it's time to be blonde again.

No_Doubt_Live : I think everyone should be blonde.

No_Doubt_Live : Yeah, actually, that was a dress that is supposed to go tight fitting against your body, but I pulled it down to just be a skirt. It's from Hunger World, she rips clothes.

No_Doubt_Live : I wanted to be wearing a white wedding sort of thing, but that didn't come together.

Guide_LarryH : BuzzSLC Asks: Hey I saw you guys play in utah, you were so full of energy I was just wondering how you stay so motivated from show to show?

No_Doubt_Live : I got to be a bride in my video so it helps me get over knowing I won't be a real bride anytime soon.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: I just hope the audience turns me around every time. When they are reacting well, we put on a good show.

No_Doubt_Live : Tony: We do a little exercising with our trainer.

No_Doubt_Live : Sometimes we have a little vodka. (laugh)

Guide_LarryH : MontrealNoDoubtFan Asks: Do you like to play outside or inside venues more? You rocked in Montreal!!!!!! Remember the bugs?

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: I never drink before I go on stage

No_Doubt_Live : Tony: I drink Gwen's share. (laugh)

No_Doubt_Live : Different people in the band have different favorites. I, Tony, like the indoor venues.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: I like the outdoor venues because I don't like to sweat and outside you keep dr

Guide_LarryH : Morgan_UNB Asks: Do you party after every show?

No_Doubt_Live : That's a good question. Some people say "Just A Girl" is our anthem.

No_Doubt_Live : (laugh) Generally we will do a quick workout, maybe a little weightlifting while we are already sweaty. Then we have different degrees of partying. Adrian: I party after every show.

No_Doubt_Live : Tony: I think our after show ritual is the same as before.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: I usually don't party after a show, because of my voice, but sometimes it's fun to hang out and dance.

No_Doubt_Live : Usually have 2 really naughty cans of Pringles. Which every day no one wants them there because they torture us because they are so fat.

Guide_LarryH : whosurdaddy23 Asks: Are you guys on the computer alot?

No_Doubt_Live : Every day! All 4 of us!

No_Doubt_Live : Tom: Yes our website is quite robust. (laugh) No, that's not true, a good friend of ours. So besides my photo of the day that became photo of the month when I got distracted. But there's new photos up now.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: I went on today because I want the Sade records. I used CDs like they're disposable, I buy them and trash them and then I have to buy them again.

No_Doubt_Live : Tom: I like to check my stocks and purchase online.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: I'm scared to purchase online because they will get my name and card number.

Guide_LarryH : Carson188 Asks: Can you guys name me some of your favorite artists?

No_Doubt_Live : Tom: Use someone else's card. (laugh!!)

No_Doubt_Live : One of my favorites is Robert Smith.

No_Doubt_Live : Adrian: I like the Beatles.

Guide_LarryH : kamikaze Asks: Im from Germany and i want to know if they have plans for an european tour next year and if they make a DVD with a lot of stuff for fans

No_Doubt_Live : As far as touring goes, we haven't made any definite plans but want to come and will get around to doing. We're planning on compiling our videos and putting them out on DVD. We have 10

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: Look out for our new video that will premeire this Monday.

Guide_LarryH : NDustiND Asks: Could u tell us a little about the "Bathwater" video coming out soon?

No_Doubt_Live : It's a Sophie M. and she did a few of our other videos and she also put together a documentary for us.

No_Doubt_Live : Rad. (laugh)

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: Tony is smelling the room up in my house!!!!!

No_Doubt_Live : Tony: It's not what you think! I have smoke bombs and I've been lighting those off in the room.

Guide_LarryH : _Adore_ Asks: do you feel that you can lead normal lives due to all your publicity?

No_Doubt_Live : It's a very playfull video of us having fun and performing. We went in there this time without a defined concept, this one was much more playful and we just enjoyed ourselves for a few days.

No_Doubt_Live : Adrian: Yeah! Today I went to the post office and mailed mail, went to the gym with our trainer, we have pretty normal lives I'd say.

No_Doubt_Live : Not that often.

No_Doubt_Live : The 4 of us together are unstoppable. (laugh) The amount of control we have over people when we are together. (laugh)

Guide_LarryH : DrSpok Asks: Hey No doubt! What is it...Is it mind over matter or matter over mind?

No_Doubt_Live : Tom: That's a good one. If there was no matter, there would be no mind, so matter wins.

No_Doubt_Live : Tony: Yeah, once when we were on the tour bus someone let some gas go and it filled up the air and that's matter. (laugh)

Guide_LarryH : PurpleHairedPunkGirl Asks: What are you're special talents?

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: I think once we get up on stage, we have a good show. I think we're talented enough to have a good show. I think that's our talent.

Guide_LarryH : seacreature_punknskagrls Asks: Tony-tom-Adrian- Have you guys ever thought of putting out your own line of basses, guitars, and drums, design by you?

No_Doubt_Live : Adrian's technique as a drummer, he is amazing!

No_Doubt_Live : that's funny because I've been offered by a few companies, but once I told them my idea, they said no.

No_Doubt_Live : What was your idea?

No_Doubt_Live : I wanted to take heads off of road kill and then have possom heads and stuff and every company that I've pitched to said no.

No_Doubt_Live : They said it would smell to much. (laugh!!!!!!)

No_Doubt_Live : Tom: I am associated with the Hammer Guitar Company and they have some really great ones. As far as the marketplace, I would want everyone to find out what guitar is right for them.

Guide_LarryH : NoDoubtRudeGirl Asks: I have been a rabid NO DOUBT fan for nearly six years now and I LOVE YOU GUYS! Here goes my question: What one material object could you absolutely positively not live without?

No_Doubt_Live : Tony: A toilet.

No_Doubt_Live : My ferrari.

Guide_LarryH : tonytonytony says: Tom, on your site there's a quote form you saying "It's probably a lot easier to have sex to this record than the last." Why is that?

No_Doubt_Live : Tom: I could live without pretty much everything, maybe toilet paper?

No_Doubt_Live : Well, if you're over 18 and you're married, I just think it's just a sexier record, not as frantic.

Guide_LarryH : beenie says: For all of you. What is the best and worst thing about this gig as music superstar?

No_Doubt_Live : Put them in a CD player and try different ones, and I'm thinking that the second one. I haven't tired it, but I encourage people to try it out.

No_Doubt_Live : Gwen: The best is that we get to do what we love for our living and we don't have to grow up, in this sort of Peter Pan world of No-Doubt.

No_Doubt_Live : The worst is when you swim so hard and get so far, but if you stop swimming, you drown. It's really hard to keep up the whole time.

Guide_LarryH : Sunnyside says: Gwen, do you feel exposed when you sing "Six Feet Under." I mean exposed as in your emotions?

No_Doubt_Live : It's hard to be away from home.

No_Doubt_Live : I think that all the songs I wrote on this record I was exposing myself, but I'm not uncomfortable doing that. When I share and people relate, it brings me comfort. Sometimes when someone recites a line and I don't know them, I guess it's kind of strange, but I don't mind sharing through music.

No_Doubt_Live : We don't know. Everybody should log in and say what you think because we have no idea. There's actually a thing on the website that you can vote for your favorite song and get feedback.

Guide_LarryH : Kaleidoscope says: Tom, Tony and Gwen, I know you stood up for Adrian at his wedding. Gwen, did you do anything with yoru bridesmaid dress? Will we be seeing the dress anywhere onstage?

No_Doubt_Live : Tom: We have no idea for the most part. What ends up happening, is everyone around us chooses and they become a hit.

Guide_LarryH : Chris1982 says: Can you describe your new CD in one word?

No_Doubt_Live : Nina, Adrian's wife asked us to pick our own dresses, so I actually let my girlfriends borrow it one night. It's just a simple black dress, and I don't know if I'll wear it again.

No_Doubt_Live : Brilliant, genuis, remarkable, occomplishment.
