- No Doubt was formed on March 14th, 1987
- Gwen's first official boyfriend was Tony, and they went out for 7 years. His reason for breaking
up with her was that he "needed space" because he felt that they had "no more room to grow" as a couple - see Gwen's lyrics
on Different People.
- The name "No Doubt" was chosen because it was John Spence's
favorite expression (John was the original lead singer of the band but committed suicide around Christmas of 1987.)
- John Spence committed suicide in Anaheim Park, December 21, 1987 (with a gun).
