About Me

 - Gabe's band is named OSLO, which is a city in Norway. His wife is Norweigan - perhaps that's where he met her??

 - Gabe is one of seven siblings

 - Gabe and Steve appeared in the Green Day song, "King for a Day" from the album Nimrod in 1997.

 - Gabe has appeared with Phil Jordan on "Why Don't You Get a Job" by The Offspring and with Goldfinger recently.

 - Gabe enjoys spicy food

 - Gabe joined the band in 1993

 - Gabe taught himself to play drums, and can also play keyboards and guitar

 - Gabe's life-long dream is to conduct his own orchestra

 - Steve performed with Baby Snufkin on the song "Indios De Bacelona". John Dumont, Tom's brother, is Baby Snufkin's bass player

 - Steve replaced Phil Jordan in the band

 - Steve is the only band member from North California

 - Steve's advice to aspiring bands: "Sell out now so you don't have to sell out later"

 - He is known for not being all that nice to fans, not mean, but he sometimes doesn't like giving autographs etc

 - Eric had been working part-time on the Simpsons since the beginning of the band. He only left to take up the job full-time. He was their layout artist.

 - Interscope told the band their songs "needed more work" when they took them to hopefully record their second album. Interscope sent Matthew Wilder to work with them, and Eric didn't like seeing his songs changed, which was one of the main reasons he left.

 - Eric left the band in 1994.

 - Eric appears on the South Park album, Chef Aid, playing clarinet.

 - "Knock Yourself Out Music" (ASCAP) is registered under Eric Stefani. That means that any song copyrighted under that name was at least partially written by him. The band now uses "Dolphin Smile" (ASCAP) since Eric left the band. ASCAP stands for the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers.

 - Eric had already left the band when they shot the cover and inside photos for Tragic Kingdom.

 - Eric's favorite Simpsons character to draw is Bart, because he relates to him.
 - Eric now writes children's books
 - Eric's philosophy in life: "Focus on what you want and go for it, if you don't get it dont give up, keep trying. Don't ever stop trying"
 - Eric's first Madness album was 'Baggy Trousers'

 - Eric on John's death: "I think it might have had something to do with the pressure"
 - "Eric is No Doubt. I think that what we are is that" - she points to some steamed vegetables on a dinner tray in front of her. "And they're really good, but if I can put a little butter and salt and pepper on that, it would be fucking great. And that's what Eric is."  - Gwen
